Yes! The porosity of unsealed concrete leads to water penetration, premature cracking, staines from oil, rust and other damaging substances.
I like to equate Sealing to an oil change or car wash & wax, when you purchase a vehicle for thousands of dollars the best way to protect that investment is to change the oil and the best way to protect the paint is to wash it & Seal it with wax. Concrete washing and sealing is necessary to ensure look and longevity of your investment. Sealing prevents damage, loss of colour, pitting, water penetration and freeze thaw cracking.
Sealing enhances the look and protects the colour keeping your concrete looking like new.
Will Sealing make my concrete surface slippery?
Concrete can be slippery when wet however CCL adds a traction enhancing product (Shark Grip) to our sealer before it is applied.
Okay sealing is a great idea but, how much does it cost?
The cost of sealing is variable and depends on the size of the area to be sealed, amount of preparation work needed for your specific surface [e.g. removal of overgrowth, oil or rust stains, amount of sealer required (If you have never sealed it may require additional coats, also some surfaces like interlock absorb more sealer than stamped concrete ergo these surfaces require a heavier/multiple coating)]

Steps to take before we arrive:

- Park your vehicle(s) on the street one or two spots away from your approach. Clear patio furniture, flower pots etc. from the surface to be washed.
- Let us know if you have a hard hook-up natural gas BBQ that needs to be disconnected.
- Shut off your irrigation system but make sure we have access to your outdoor water hook up.
- Avoid cutting your lawn after the surface is washed and for 24 hours after we seal
- In Burlington and other areas you may require a temp parking permit for the duration of the wash and seal process.
Step/Day Two: Sealing
- Make sure your irrigation system is turned off.
- Please do not park on the surface after we wash.
Allow 4-10 hours for foot traffic & 24-48 hours for vehicle and other large items
How does your price match program work?
If you find a lower price, provide us with the official quote and we will beat it.
Restrictions: The price must be for the same service as well as products and proper application. The other quote cannot include any discounts or special offers.The competitors quoted must be from a registered, legitimate, insured business.
The other quote must be in hard copy with identified company logo, phone number, business number with the details of their wash and seal process including square footage. The other quote must be dated within 40 days. CCL may modify this offer if there is any issues as to the authenticity.
We do not beat the price of fly-by-nighters and recommend that you avoid using unregistered charlatans but we will fix the mess they make for you at a special discount (this does not apply if you do it yourself). We don't want you to have to deal with having someone take your hard earned money so we will match their price if you sign a reseal contract.
What is a reseal contract? If you find yourself dealing with a fly-by-nighter, we will match their price if you sign a contract for a reseal to be used in the next 2-3 years at our regular price. Call for details. Restrictions apply*
